A versatile pickup suitable for a wide variety of playing styles, the Special T is a great fit for players who find most other similar pickups to be too bright, or those looking for a slightly hotter and darker tone while still evoking the best of the Fullerton-era sound.  We paired it with a  Lollar Imperial Humbucker in the neck position.  It's their  take on the original 1950s P.A.F. pickup. Designed to draw from the long revered qualities of the original P.A.F.s while improving on their frequency balance and giving a slight boost to the bridge pickup’s output, this could be our favorite humbucker out there. It offers good sustain and a tone rich in midrange overtones, soft in the high-end, and pronounced in the lows.  The end result is a guitar that is sonically balanced and won't sound harsh.  For anyone that wants a lightweight JM6, this cannot be beat.\u003c\/span\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e\u003cspan\u003eWe went for another new twist new twist on this JM6, choosing to do it with Lambertones The Ristretto P90's.  This was the suggestion of Fano's Graham Dowling, who had fallen in love with these pickups.  Lambertones created a tone that's truly unique.  They are low output pickups, much lower than a normal P90 (neck output measuring 3.65k ohms and bridge ouput 5.05k), but with the dynamics, concentration, and balance of the best single-coils out there.  According to Lambertones, \"Don’t be fooled, the volume signal output is there. we went for a medium distress level for the neck to give it that worn in touch that Fano excels at.  This guitar has the feel and vibe of an old vintage instrument but with some modern tweaks, upgrades and reliability.  The Alder body is light and resonant.  The finishing work, in our opinion, is perfect -
