If you’ve been looking for a nylon-string guitar that feels a little more at home in today's acoustic world, the Taylor 314ce-N is an ideal choice.  There are a lot of options out there but Taylor knows how to nail the fusion of classic with modern, with extremely comfortable playability.

The 314ce-N pairs a Grand Auditorium body with a solid Sitka spruce top and solid sapele back and sides, giving you a punchy midrange, warm low end, and clear, articulate highs.  The tropical mahogany neck, topped with an West African ebony fingerboard, has a 1-7/8" nut width to create a comfortable crossover feel, with enough string spacing for fingerstyle playing without the wider feel of a traditional classical guitar.  That's a key feature of this guitar.  The Venetian cutaway and 25-1/2" scale length make it easy to get around the neck.  This guitar is great for intricate fingerstyle parts, jazz chords, Latin rhythms, or contemporary acoustic arrangements.

It’s also stage-ready, with Taylor’s ES-N electronics designed specifically for the nylon-string voice, so you can plug in and get to work. Other appointments include nylon-series bracing, Gemstone fingerboard inlays, black binding, a gloss-finished top, and satin-finished back and sides.

This particular one was built in 2018 and is in great shape.  There is normal player wear but nothing major.  We did notice that at once point there was a sticker on the top, which was removed, but left behind an outline of what it was.  We actually really like it - this makes this a unique one!

All in all, this 314ce-N is a versatile, well-thought-out nylon-string guitar that offers a different voice from your typical steel-string acoustic, without sacrificing the familiar playability Taylor is known for.  The techs have set it up to play perfectly and the original hardshell case is included.
