The models can be further visually customized with a variety of pickguard colors and knob styles. We started with the most popular platform - the JM6. This offset body style has proven to be Fano's most sought after. The Light Distress finish package gives it the feel of a guitar that's been broken in but not too heavily abused. It's tastefully done, as seen in the photos. We chose to do this one in Red Burst, and love the way it came out!

The feel & playability of this guitar is incredible. That's where Fano excels - while their guitars look super cool, it's all about the expert craftsmanship and super comfortable feel of the hand-shaped necks. The 60's style C neck carve and 9.5 - 12" compound radius make this a breeze to play all the way up the neck. The back of the neck is just slightly worn in and very comfortable to play. The Kluson-style tuners top it off, and it's all anchored by a Tone Pros bridge & tailpiece for enhanced tone & sustain.

Speaking of tone, this one kills. We went with Fano humbuckers, which are a bit of an underground secret. Tonally, they have thick midrange with a top-end sparkle that will evoke memories of the iconic, 50s and 60s surf sound. They can scream when you need them too, but also sound great clean. They can go right into jazz or blues subdued sounds by doing a slight roll-off of volume and tone. You get a balanced output between positions and an expressive dynamic range.

This guitar has the feel and vibe of an old vintage instrument but with some modern tweaks, upgrades and reliability. The Alder body is light and resonant. The relic work, in our opinion, is perfect - there are not many that can do it as well as Fano. The gold plexi pickguard and Cream radio knobs add a custom touch and really improve on the uniqueness of this one. If you're wondering if you've seen a guitar like this before, you haven't, as this is the only JM6 in existence exactly like it. We spec'ed this one our ourselves....and of of course Fano nailed it.

Plain and simple, this is a great example of the amazing work being done at Fano with the Oltre series. Sound, feel and looks all get top marks. And, it comes with a premium Fano gig bag. Come to Truetone Music to experience this guitar today, or make it yours right here right now.

Serial # 230429

Weight 7.8 lbs

Color: Red Burst

Neck Color: Vintage Amber Tint

Upper Headcap Color: Same as Body

Lower Headcap Color: Same as Neck

Distress - Body: Light

Distress - Neck: Light

Body: Alder

Neck: Maple

Scale Length: 25.5"

Joint Construction: Bolt-on

Neck Shape: Early 60's "C" Shape Neck .830 - .920"

Fingerboard: Rosewood

Radius: Compound 9.5 - 12"

Fret Wire: 6105 Nickel/Steel

Inlay Style: Dots

Inlay Material: Black

Tuning Keys: Fano Modern Kluson-style

Hardware: Medium Aged Nickel

Neck PIckup: Fano Humbucker

Bridge Pickup: Fano Humbucker

Pickguard: Gold Plexi

Bridge: TonePros T.O.M. and Stoptail

Knobs: Cream Radio

Switch: 3-Way toggle

Switch Tip: Cream

Fano Gig bag
