Featuring unbeveled alnico 5\u003cspan\u003e \u003c\/span\u003e\u003cspan\u003emag\u003c\/span\u003enets from the low E through G and hand-beveled alnico 2\u003cspan\u003e \u003c\/span\u003e\u003cspan\u003emag\u003c\/span\u003enets for the B and high E. Each pickup is wrapped with copper shielding tape to reduce noise.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eFeaturing a custom stagger with a “low G” magnet that provides a smooth transition from the wound to plain strings. The alnico 5 beneath the G makes that string “sing” just right and the alnico 2 B\u0026amp;E magnets are slightly taller than vintage spec to help create string-to-string balance.
