Position three provides a twist on the “rhythm” tone, while position two offers the neck pickup solo, wired directly to the volume pot, and position one is the bridge pickup alone, with volume control and blend for the neck pickup.  \u003c\/div\u003e\n\u003cdiv\u003e\u003cbr\u003e\u003c\/div\u003e\n\u003cdiv\u003ePlaying this guitar is super comfortable - the neck is a one piece, riftsawn maple, which has a vintage style 1950 Blackguard shape.  It's not a small neck, not quite a baseball bat, but it is chunky.   It has a modernized 9.5\" radius and 6105 (Narrow Tall) frets, allowing easy chordal play in the first position as well as easy bending without fretting out as you go into the upper register.  We also had the Custom Shop apply a Heavy Relic treatment on the back of the neck, to give it fully broken in feel.\u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003eOther features include medium-vintage frets, single-ply Black pickguard, vintage-style bridge \u0026amp; tuning machines, bone nut and round string tree.
