we saw this guitar, and went for it right away.  We put a bid in, and at the end of the night, we were thrilled to have won it - now, we can present this Fender Custom Shop Limited Edition Roasted Stratocaster Special.\u003c\/div\u003e\n\u003cdiv class=\"gmail-row gmail-ng-scope\"\u003e\u003cbr\u003e\u003c\/div\u003e\n\u003cdiv class=\"gmail-row gmail-ng-scope\"\u003eVintage tone and modern playability is what this superior instrument brings to the table.  It's an interesting aesthetic too - the color is called 55 Desert Tan, one that is rarely seen.  Immediately upon arrival, it became one of our favorites.  The anodized gold pickguard is a great touch as well.  While much of what you see you out there are relic'ed guitars, we were happy to see this one as an NOS (New Old Stock).  There is no aging or wear whatsoever - it's super clean, brand new and shiny, straight out of the shop.\u003c\/div\u003e\n\u003cdiv class=\"gmail-row gmail-ng-scope\"\u003e\u003cbr\u003e\u003c\/div\u003e\n\u003cdiv class=\"gmail-row gmail-ng-scope\"\u003eThis Strat features a roasted alder body with deep contours (like on a '57 Strat) and an off-center seam.   The Custom Shop selected the most primo piece of quartersawn maple to use on this guitar, and roasted it as well, with dark tint (specified to be super dark).  The body and neck, combined, deliver superior sustain and enhanced clarity.  It's also super comfortable, with a Large \"C\" profile and 1.625\" nut width that is easy to play.  A 9.5\" radius on the dark rosewood fretboard and narrow tall (6105) frets add the modern touch to an otherwise vintage-styled guitar.\u003c\/div\u003e\n\u003cdiv class=\"gmail-row gmail-ng-scope\"\u003e  \u003cbr\u003e\n\u003c\/div\u003e\n\u003cdiv class=\"gmail-row gmail-ng-scope\"\u003eHandwound Fat 50's pickups (normally an upcharge) give you the classic 50's chime with a bit of extra bite to help cut through the mix.  These are the most requested pickups on Custom Shop guitars, for good reason - they are the epitome of the classic Strat sound.  This Strat also features a special wiring setup, called the Fat ‘50s Strat.  This helps you to avoid tone loss when adjusting the volume, giving you more control over your sound.  Overall, this guitar is balanced across the tonal spectrum, with classic Strat tones instantly available.\u003c\/div\u003e\n\u003cdiv class=\"gmail-row gmail-ng-scope\"\u003e \u003c\/div\u003e\n\u003cdiv class=\"gmail-row gmail-ng-scope\"\u003eComes with a Limited Edition neckplate, tweed case, strap and certificate of authenticity.  This is a very special Strat -
