Greeny is one of the most iconic original Les Paul Standards ever made, with a unique sound as recognizable as the guitar itself. Previously owned by Peter Green, it was used throughout his time with Fleetwood Mac and later sold to Gary Moore, who used it for three decades with Thin Lizzy and as a solo artist. Now owned by Kirk Hammett, Greeny has passed through the hands of three legendary guitarists. Its distinctive sound is partly from the out-of-phase middle switch position due to the neck pickup’s reversed magnetic polarity. The Kirk Hammett "Greeny" Les Paul Standard was inspired by this legendary guitar and gives players around the world the opportunity to experience some of the magic of "Greeny" for themselves. An Original Series hardshell case is included.

Part # LPSKH00GGNH1

SPECIFICATIONS

BODY

Body Style: Les Paul
Body Shape: Les Paul
Body Material: Mahogany
Top: AAA Figured Maple
Binding: Single Ply Cream, Top and Fretboard
Body Finish: Satin Nitrocellulose Lacquer

NECK

Profile: 50s Vintage
Scale Length: 628.65 mm / 24.75 in
Fingerboard Material: Indian Rosewood
Fingerboard Radius: 304.8 mm / 12 in
Fret Count: 22
Frets: Medium Jumbo
Nut Material: Graph Tech
Nut Width: 43.053 mm / 1.695 in
End Of Board Width: 57.404 mm / 2.26 in
Inlays: Acrylic Trapezoid
Joint: Glued In, Set Neck

HARDWARE

Finish: Nickel
Bridge: ABR-1 Tune-O-Matic
Tailpiece: Aluminum Stop Bar
Tuning Machines: Grover Rotomatics with Contemporary Buttons
Pickguard: Cream (Not Installed)
Truss Rod: Adjustable
Truss Rod Cover: 2-ply Bell; Black and White
Control Knobs: Amber Top Hats and Gold Top Hats with Gold Reflector & Pointers
Switch Tip: Cream
Switch washer: Cream
Jack Plate Cover: Black
Strap Buttons: 2

ELECTRONICS

Neck Pickup: Greenybucker with Reversed Magnetic Polarity; Reverse Mounted
Bridge Pickup: Greenybucker
Controls: 2 Volume, 2 Tone, Hand-wired with Orange Drop Capacitors
Pickup Selector: 3-way Toggle
Output Jack: 1/4"

MISCELLANEOUS

Strings Gauge: .010 .013 .017 .026 .036 .046
Case: Original Series Hardshell
Accessories: Gibson Accessory Kit

https://www.truetonemusic.mom/products/gibson-kirk-hammett-greeny-les-paul-standard-greeny-burst-with-case
