Tonally it's placed right between a Mahogany and Koa. Very nice balanced tone, but not as rich sounding as Rosewood species.\u003c\/span\u003e\u003c\/div\u003e\n\u003c\/div\u003e\n\u003c\/blockquote\u003e\n\u003c\/div\u003e\n\u003cdiv data-mce-fragment=\"1\"\u003e\n\u003cdiv data-mce-fragment=\"1\"\u003eThe warmth provided by this wood is a great complement to the precise attack of a 000 guitar - making this one perfect for strumming as well as fingerpicking.  It's a \"best of both worlds\" scenario.  And, this particular spread of Wandoo was hand-selected at the Custom Shop.  Not only does it look spectacular, but the experts there chose it for how it would sound - deep, warm and round, but with a crisp articulation and strong sustain.  The Sitka Spruce top resonates and sings sweetly, providing excellent note definition.\u003c\/div\u003e\n\u003c\/div\u003e\n\u003cdiv data-mce-fragment=\"1\"\u003e\u003cbr data-mce-fragment=\"1\"\u003e\u003c\/div\u003e\n\u003cdiv data-mce-fragment=\"1\"\u003eThe neck is Martin’s popular modified low oval profile, making it very comfortable to play for hours.
