A true force to be reckoned with. It's versatile enough to be used by anybody looking for an aggressive bass tone, designed with the metal shredder in mind. But this bass also has a killer clean slap tone and can fit in modern R&B and funk situations too where the bass tone tends to be more prevalent and less buried in the mix. The 18mm string spacing helps with fast runs and lines that require string skipping.

Playability and sound are top notch, as to be expected. Where this bass really goes to the next level is the attention to detail and quality. We are continuously blown away by every Mayones instrument that lands here - and for a 5 string bass, we think that this one simply cannot be beat.

Aesthetically, it's hard to get cooler than this - the Transparent Green satin finish is stunning over the flamed maple top. Be sure to check out all of the photos and zoom in to see how nice it really is.

The build quality is beyond superb and the action, right out of the box, was really low while still producing clear and buzz-free notes. From top to bottom this feels like a truly boutique and high-end instrument while being an absolute heavyweight in the tone department.

Mayones Patriot Tank 5

Transparent Green

Flame Maple Top

Profiled American Ash Tonally Enhanced Wood Wings + Wenge Middle

5-Ply Wenge-Purpleheart Neck

Pau Ferro Fretboard

34.25" Scale Length

20" Fretboard Radius

H-H / Mayones Velvetrone® Stark Pickups

Mayones Musashi Nitōryū preamp (3 band EQ)

1 × Volume (push-pull or miniswitch for Active/Passive), 1 x Balance, 1 × Middle, 1 x Treble / Bass, 1 × PassiveTone.

Ebony Nut

47 mm Nut Width

20" Fretboard Radius

Mayones X2 Bass Bridge: 18 mm String Spacing

Schaller Security Straplocks

Switchcraft Jack

Mayones Soft Case Included

100% Handcrafted

The bass pictured is the one available

https://www.truetonemusic.mom/products/mayones-patriot-flame-top-tank-5-string-bass-guitar-tank-green
