Highly sensitive to even the most subtle nuances, the LightWave pickup delivers the true sound of the strings, the instrument, and your playing. Other features of the guitar are a chambered mahogany body, and “C” profile mahogany neck. It has a natural finish over the flame maple top – and is rather beautiful.

The NiMH internal battery that will give you 16 hours of playing time on only a two-hour charge!

This is a very interesting guitar and one that is hard to find. It plays smoothly and of course sounds amazing. It's in excellent condition and has been setup to play perfectly by the techs in our shop. A gig bag is included.

Important Information: This guitar has been set up with D'Addario EJ26 Phosphor Bronze (11-52) acoustic guitar strings. The saddle is cut/ compensated for a wound “G”. If you want different gauge strings, the sensors on the guitar may need to be recalibrated. Lightwave pickups use infrared instead of piezos or magnets. The sensor has to be right in the middle of each string’s cycle or it distorts or loses volume. There are two calibration bolts on top of the system and 6 individual trim pots inside.

Serial # S080410086

Product Specs and Features

5 lbs, 10 oz.

Natural Finish

Flame Maple Top

Chambered Mahogany Body

Mahogany Neck with Low-Profile “C” Shape

Rosewood Fretboard

25.5” Scale Length

14” Fretboard Radius

.850” Neck Thickness at 1st Fret

.930” Neck Thickness at 12th Fret

LightWave Analog Optical Pickup

Custom GraphTech Monolithic Bridges with iceTone™ Saddle

LightWave Designed Active Pre-Amp with Master Volume and Pull-Up Tone Control

Rechargeable NiMH Internal Battery – 16 Hours playing time with 2-hour recharge

Includes: Gigbag, Charger, and Willcox Adjustment Tools

https://www.truetonemusic.mom/products/pre-owned-2004-willcox-guitars-lightwave-atlantis-thinline-natural-electric-guitar
