You don't need to be Secretariat to get the best tone from this amp. It's right here in an easily portable package.

This Mesa-Boogie Triple Crown TC-50 guitar amp head is a 3-channel 50-watt EL34 powerhouse of an amp. You get everything from sparkly, chimey cleans to warm, transparent overdrive to all-out rectified distortion that'll peel the paint of the walls, all in one amp. This amp comes stock with EL84s which give you that classic British bite and crunch to the rectified goodness Mesa's are known for. But the beauty of this amp is its Bias switching which allows to swap over to 6L6 or even 6V6 tubes. This completely expands the amp's tonal range.

This amp features a Hi gain, Lo gain, and Clean channel and gives you individual EQs, Presence, Master, and Gain controls for each channel. There is also additional switching per channel to change the gain structure. Throw in excellent reverb, Solo boost and output control and you have an amp with unrivaled control. There is no tone you cannot get with this amp.

This amp is in excellent condition and comes with the original amp cover, as well as the footswitch. It appears that the previous owner never took it out of his studio, as it's super clean. It's a great deal on an amazing amp, and sure to go fast!

SPECS

Wattage: 50 Watts
Channels & Modes: 3 Channels / 2 Modes per Channel
Mode Voicings styles: Ch. 1 = Normal (Clean) or Drive Ch. 2 = Normal (Modern Crunch) or Tight Ch. 3 = Normal (High-Gain) or Tight
Graphic Eq Reverb Fx Solo: Reverb, FX Loop, Solo
Foot switchable Functions: Ch. 1, 2, 3, Reverb, FX Loop & Solo
Speakers Impedance: n/a
Weight: 35 Lbs.
Dimensions: 9 5/8" H x 22 3/4" W x 10 3/8" D
Amp Type: Tube
Rectifier Type: Silicon Diodes
Rectifier Tubes: n/a
Variac PowerSwitch: n/a
Preamp Tubes: 6x Mesa 12AX7, 1x Mesa 12AT7
Power Amp Tubes: 2x Mesa EL-34 (or 6V6 or 6L6)
Maintenance Free Fixed Bias: Yes
Wattages Quick Reference: 50 Watts
Built In Power Amp Attenuation: n/a
Power Amp Details Class Wattage: Class A/B Power for exceptional power, tight punch and clarity - Produces 50 Watts of power
Number Of Style Modes: Six
Number Of Style Modes Per Channel: Two
Channel Controls: Each Channel features Independent 2-Position Style Mode Switch, Gain, Treble, Mid, Bass, Presence, Reverb (back panel), and Master Controls
Reverb Effects Bypass Options: Footswitchable, All-Tube, Short-Tank Spring Reverb with Independent Channel Controls (rear panel)
Effects Loop Bypass Options: Footswitchable, Fully Buffered Series Tube FX Loop
Global Output Level Control: Yes (Over all channels)
Global Solo Level Control: Yes (Over all channels)
External Switching Jack Options And/or Midi: MIDI Switchable/Programmable via Control Change and Program Change messages, with 256 Preset Location (MIDI IN, MIDI Thru/Out, MIDI Channel & Store Switches) – Controls Channels 1, 2, 3, Reverb, FX Loop & Solo
Speaker Outputs: 8 Ohm / 4 Ohm Switch with Two Speaker Jacks
Cabinet Simulation Direct Live recording Output: Built-in MESA CabClone™ Cab Simulator Output featuring Closed Back, Open Back & Vintage Cabinet Simulations, Internal Amp Load, Headphone Output & Uncompensated Line (Slave) Output, Speaker On/Off & Ground/Lift Switches

https://www.truetonemusic.mom/products/pre-owned-2017-mesa-boogie-triple-crown-tc-50-black-guitar-amp-head-with-amp-cover
