An exclusive version was made, featuring a stunning Denim Burst finish over a AA flame maple top, painted headstock with silver Fender logo, and a smooth, striped ebony fingerboard. This is one of those, modified to look even cooler (didn't think that was possible, but apparently it is!).

This instrument is from the personal collection of the late Brad Pie who played guitar in the 1990’s with the great Johnny Otis. Along with Johnny’s sons - Shuggie Otis (Guitar) and Nicky Otis (Drums) - Brad contributed guitar to the 1992 Grammy-Nominated “Spirits of the Black Territory Bands” by the Johnny Otis & His Orchestra group. Many of the instruments from Brad’s collection are uniquely modified and come with various customized accessories. This particular instrument comes with the following:

The guitar has been upgraded with custom Tone Knobs - all else is original, including the case. Inside, you'll find the original tone knobs and tremolo arm, as well as a nice brown leather strap, blue Ernie Ball cable, a clip-on tuner, and the Certificate of Authenticity.

The guitar features fifth-generation Noiseless pickups, Fender's amazing Double Tap humbucker, advanced electronics, tapered heel and body contours, an upgraded neck shape and rolled-edge ebony fingerboard with a compound 10 -14" radius.

Players graviated towards the neck's modern-D profile. It’s flatter than a standard-D, with a faster back and a little more “meat” on the shoulders. Fender created an all-new process to apply a thin coat of satin urethane, giving the neck a completely smooth, raw wood feel. Your hands won’t stick here.

The guitar was built in 2021, is in excellent condition, and has been setup to play perfectly by the techs in our shop. An American Ultra Strat is a nice score in general and this is the only one out there that looks like this!

Noiseless pickups in HSS configuration

Master volume with S-1 switch and individual tone controls, 5-way switch

Rolled compound-radius ebony fingerboard

Modern D-shaped tapered maple neck

S/N US21004245

https://www.truetonemusic.mom/products/pre-owned-2021-fender-american-ultra-limited-edition-blueburst-strat-with-ohsc
