Pre-Owned 2024 Gibson Les Paul Modern Figured Seafoam Green with OHSC
We just took in a truly magnificent guitar that isn't your grandpa's Les Paul - it's the the 21st century version. Lighter, tweaked for performance, and in a unique finish you'd never see back in the 1950's.
Gibson built the Les Paul Modern for players who love the classic single-cut but want it to play like a modern instrument. It pairs a AAA figured maple top under gloss nitrocellulose lacquer with a mahogany body carrying Gibson's Ultra-Modern weight relief. The color is Seafoam Green but it's transparent so you still see the wood grain. This one was built in 2024 and is in great shape.
The SlimTaper neck ends in a Modern Contoured Heel that trims away the bulky block of a traditional Les Paul neck joint, so reaching the 22nd fret takes far less of a stretch. The ebony fingerboard has a compound radius (10 - 16"), keeping chords comfortable in the first position while allowing you to bend notes up high without fretting out. Grover locking Rotomatics and an aluminum Nashville Tune-O-Matic with a stop bar tailpiece keep it in tune through heavy playing and make string changes quick.
The electronics are where the Modern really earns its name. A Burstbucker Pro sits in the neck and a Burstbucker Pro+ in the bridge, and all four knobs are push-pull. Pull either volume knob to split that pickup for brighter, single-coil style tones. Pull the neck tone to throw the pickups out of phase in the middle position for that hollow, nasal Peter Green sound, and pull the bridge tone for pure bypass, which sends the bridge pickup straight to the jack with no volume or tone controls in the path for a hotter, more open sound.
This Les Paul Modern is in excellent condition and comes with its original hardshell case. The techs in our shop have set it up to play perfectly so it's ready to go.
