For all the southpaws out there that rarely get something special, we have a great one for you....

This is the left-handed version of the Telecaster Thinline that Fender's Japanese factory builds for the Traditional series, a semi-hollow Tele with two Wide-Range humbuckers instead of the usual twang-first single-coils. Lefty players rarely get a faithful 1970s-style Thinline, so this one is a real find, and it is in excellent condition and barely played. It comes to us from our favorite left-handed source, a local collector that keeps all of his gear super clean. This one is no exception - it looks brand new. Built this year in Japan, it's a great find for any left-handed player.

Fender currently doesn't offer a left-handed Telecaster Thinline here in the U.S. - this guitar was only available in the Asian market - so to have one like this here is a special opportunity.

The body is ash with the Thinline's single f-hole, finished in gloss Olympic White with a 3-ply aged white pearl pickguard. The semi-hollow build keeps the weight down to 6.7 lbs, so it stays comfortable to keep strapped on all night. That ash-and-air combination gives you a snappy attack with a little extra openness and bloom compared with a solid Tele.

The Wide-Range humbuckers are the heart of the sound. They are bigger and clearer than a standard PAF-style humbucker, with a bright, articulate top end and tight lows, which is why they suit everything from jangly clean tones to crunchy rock rhythm. A 3-way switch gives you the bridge, both pickups together, or the neck, and the controls are one master volume and one master tone with knurled flat-top knobs.

The one-piece maple neck has a vintage-style "U" shape and a maple fingerboard with black dot inlays, a 9.5" radius and 21 vintage-style frets, with a bone nut that is 1.615" wide and a 25.5" scale length. It is attached with a 3-bolt neck plate, like the originals. The bridge is a vintage-style strings-through-body hardtail with nickel and chrome hardware throughout.

This Tele is in excellent condition and has been setup to play perfectly by the techs in our shop. It comes with a gig bag. For any left-hander out there that wants a Thinline, this is the one to grab before it's gone!
