High quality Sitka, Englemann, Red Cedar tops,  name it!  And of course, highly figured\/flamed maple B\u0026amp;S sets.  Fortunately, he is also a great friend of mine. He's David Lapeyrouse, owner\u003c\/em\u003e\u003cbr\u003e\u003cem\u003eof Timber Tonewoods, B.C., Canada.  As we are both Canadian tonewood suppliers, we got to be friends and travelled several times together in the USA, Europe, and Asia for business purposes.  In July 2021, he called me about that unique maple log that he got saying that the intensity of the 3D figure combined with that very strange and unique reddish color was the very first specimen he got in over 40 years of tonewood supplying business.  Generously, he sent me some pictures of the log and offered me the first pick. My answer was; David, I will not take just few B\u0026amp;S sets coming from that\u003c\/em\u003e\u003cbr\u003e\u003cem\u003elog.
