The guitar features a hand-selected flame maple top, gold hardware throughout, custom designed pickups, and the 60th anniversary logo inlaid in pearl at the 12th fret of the instrument’s neck. Speaking of the neck, it's a beautiful AA Flame Maple, a fitting match for this guitar.

The top of the guitar has been hand-stained using the exclusive wine stain mixture "Hill Harvest Red". This unique concept was dreamt up at the Custom Shop, and the result is stunning.

This guitar came with six bottles of hand-selected wine, blended for the Fender Custom Shop by the Hill Family in Yountville, California. The bottles were packaged in a case manufactured in Fender Ensenada using a variety of tonewoods including spruce and Paloscrito. A Custom Shop Limited Edition logo was inlaid on the top of the case using abalone, rosewood, maple, and ebony. While that wine is long gone, it is an interesting fact about this guitar.

Fender has made a lot of collectible guitars, but the 60th Anniversary Presidential Select Stratocaster is one of the most unique. It was featured on the cover of the 2009 Fender Custom Shop calendar and has become well known to collectors and Fender fanatics.

The guitar is in excellent condition - the previous owner kept it in his private collection, and now it's here at Truetone Music. It's been setup to play perfectly by the techs in our shop. The original Custom Shop case and Certificate of Authenticity are included, as well as a nice leather strap and cable. It's ready to be added to the next collection of fine instruments.

Year: 2006

Body Type: Solid Body

Top Wood: AAA Flame Maple

Body Wood: Sort For Lightweight Ash

Finish Type: Gloss Polyurethane

Finish Color: Wine Red

Neck Wood: AA Flame Maple

Fingerboard: Indian Rosewood

Neck Carve: 60s Style Oval "C"

Scale Length: 25.5''

Neck Radius: 9.5''

Frets: 22 - Medium Jumbo

Nut Width: 1.650"

Nut Material: Bone

Neck Finish: WLS Satin Finish

Inlays: Mother of Pearl Dot; "Fender 60 1946-2006" inlaid in pearl at the 12th fret

Neck Pickup: Modern Classic Single-Coil Pickup

Middle Pickup: Modern Classic Single-Coil Pickup

Bridge Pickup: Hot Classic Single-Coil Pickup with steel induction plate

Pickguard: 3-Ply White

Hardware: Gold

Bridge: Deluxe 2-Point Synchronized Tremolo with Pop in Arm

Tuners: Schaller Deluxe Locking Tuning Machines

Controls: Master Volume, Tone 1, Tone 2, 5-Way Blade Switch

Case: Fender Custom Shop G&G Black Tolex Hardshell Case

Serial # CN04673

https://www.truetonemusic.mom/products/pre-owned-fender-custom-shop-60th-anniversary-presidential-select-stratocaster-wine-red-with-ohsc
