Pre-Owned Foxx Tone Machine Reissue Fuzz Pedal - Blue Velvet

Get those fuzzy feelings with this Foxx Tone Machine reissue! This reissue brings back one of the most iconic and eccentric analog octave fuzz circuits of the 1970s, complete with its legendary soft, faux-velvet flocked metal enclosure. Released in 2005 as an exact replica of the original 1972 design, this reissue is powered by a complex four-transistor circuit built around Fairchild 2N3565 transistors.
Retaining the distinctive side-mounted control panel, it offers a versatile three-knob layout for Volume, Sustain, and Tone, alongside a side toggle that engages the soaring, harmonic upper-octave circuit made famous by players like Billy Gibbons and Peter Frampton.
Sweeping the Sustain control unlocks a massive range of vintage fuzz textures, dialing back counterclockwise for a tight, gated attack reminiscent of a classic Fuzzrite, or cranking clockwise to unleash a thick, singing wall-of-sound sustain. Engaging the octave switch introduces a bright, bell-like upper harmonics and ringing leads and wild, synthy solos.
It's in excellent condition with its iconic blue plush flocking intact, this reissued Foxx Tone Machine delivers 70s fuzz bliss and high-octane octave bite!
