The classic white pickguard was replaced with a mint green version, and the fingerboard transitioned from maple to rosewood, producing a warmer, more refined tone without sacrificing the Strat’s trademark clarity and definition. The American Original '60s Stratocaster preserves these vintage details while integrating contemporary playability and pickup configurations, honoring the legendary instrument that shaped the foundation of rock guitar.

The Pure Vintage '65 single-coil Stratocaster pickups are meticulously wax-potted and built to period specs, featuring enamel-coated coil wire, cloth-covered output wires, fiber bobbins, and alnico 5 magnets for authentic tone. The neck sports a robust "'60s C" profile paired with a 9.5" fingerboard radius, enhancing overall playability. Additional vintage-accurate details include tall frets, true-to-era body contours, vintage-style hardware such as the six-point synchronized tremolo bridge, a vintage-style hardshell case, and a lacquer finish that allows the wood to resonate naturally while developing a unique aging character over time.

So if you want a guitar that brings you the best of the '60s Strats this is a great one to get. This guitar is in good condition and comes with its original hardshell case. There are some small dings on the back of the body but nothing major (see photos). The techs in our shop have set it up to play perfectly and it's ready to go!

Features

Alder body with lacquer finish

Three Pure Vintage '65 single-coil Stratocaster pickups

Thick "'60s C"-shaped neck profile; 9.5"-radius fingerboard

Vintage-style hardware; six-point synchronized tremolo bridge

Includes vintage-style hardshell case

Serial Number: V2086551

https://www.truetonemusic.mom/products/used-2020-fender-american-original-60s-stratocaster-shell-pink-with-ohsc
