Here's the Tone King Gremlin! This amp is a premier low-wattage combo amplifier designed to deliver authentic blackface and tweed-era sounds.

This 5-watt, 1×12” all-tube amp provides ample vintage character whether practicing quietly at home or playing alongside a drummer. Its two inputs and straightforward controls simplify tone shaping: the Rhythm channel offers bright, bell-like highs with plenty of headroom, while the Lead input delivers classic tweed-style overdrive. An optional A/B/Y footswitch lets you blend or switch between channels seamlessly.

Plus, the built-in Ironman II attenuator gives precise control over output volume without sacrificing tone. For fans of cranked low-watt American amps, the Gremlin is a top choice.

This amp is in excellent condition - in fact, it was a brand new amp here earlier this year, purchased and then traded back in after barely being used. So, it's super clean. It's a great find for sure!

KEY FEATURES

Rhythm and Lead channels voiced for blackface and tweed tones

Switch between channels on the fly with an optional A/B/Y footswitch

Ironman II reactive attenuation maintains your sound at any volume

5W, 1×12”

TECHNICAL DETAILS

Configuration: 5W, 1×12 Single Channel Combo
Speaker: Custom designed 12″, 8-Ohm, Ceramic Magnet speaker made by Celestion
Preamp: Rhythm and Lead channels are voiced for blackface and tweed tones
Rhythm offers more headroom, while Lead is a more driven voice: Select your input or jump the channels with an optional A/B/Y footswitch
Controls: Vol, Tone
Output Power: 5W
Built-In Ironman II Compensated Power Attenuator: Onboard Ironman II power attenuator
Reactive load reacts and feels just like your amp at any volume
Get the same tone whether performing live or playing quietly
Tubes: 1 x KT66 and 2 x 12AX7
Speaker Imbedence: 8 Ohms
Ironman II Attenuator design features: Precision Tuned Reactive Load
Fletcher-Munson Volume Compensation Circuitry Damping factor correction
Dimensions: 10″(L) x 19″(W) x 17″(H)
Weight: 29 lbs.
