This mod takes this reissue to new heights of tonal bliss with expert craftmanship and upgrades with the highest quality of components.

The Princeton Reverb received a fresh new face in 1968—a silver-and-turquoise front panel with aluminum grille cloth trim, with tone, reverb and tremolo that was still pure Fender. The '68 Custom Princeton Reverb also has modified tone circuitry for greater tonal flexibility with pedals and reduced negative feedback for greater touch sensitivity and quicker overdrive onset.

So what's the George Alessandro mod?
While it's called a mod it's really more like a vintage overhaul. George Alessandro rebuilds the circuitry of the amp. He replaces the components with even higher quality and vintage correct components and completely hand-wires the components just as Fender did during the golden age. This gives you with incredible tonal dynamics and tube warmth. The bass is deeper and more articulate, while balancing the extension on the high frequencies. The distortion harmonics have better layering, and the amp’s usability range past 5 or 6 on the volume. This Princeton Reverb is transformed to a hand-wired amp with even more vintage-accurate tones.

This amp is in excellent condition. For those want a special Princeton Reverb, this is a great find - we have a feeling that it will go fast.

Serial Number: B588357

https://www.truetonemusic.mom/products/used-fender-68-custom-princeton-reverb-guitar-amp-combo-with-alessandro-mod-with-footswitch-2
