Aesthetically, it's going to draw attention with the Red Sparkle finish. There's no way to miss this one.....whether it's on stage or on the wall in the studio, it's a conversation starter. We're glad it's an NOS, too - no reason to rough up that beautiful finish!

This Strat is lightweight, acoustically resonant, plays very smoothly, and sounds exactly like you'd want if you're into 60's Strats, thanks to the handwound 60/63 pickups. They are wound to the exact specs from those formidable years that burned the Stratocaster into the history of music forever. You'll get the classic chime combined with the warmness of a 60's era Strat. The middle pickup is RWRP (Reverse Wound Reverse Polarity) to reduce noise when in position 2 & 4. Thankfully, it's equipped with a modern 5-way selector switch.

It features a comfortable 60's Oval "C" neck shape - period correct, with a real vintage feel. This slim profile is the most popular choice for Custom Shop guitars, and there's a good reason for that! The 9.5” fingerboard radius combined with the 6150 (Medium Jumbo) frets add a modern touch and help to make this a player’s dream.

For the classic sound & feel of a 60's Strat, it's hard to beat this, especially if you want a unique look. Everyone has or has seen sunburst, black, white, etc.....but how about Red Sparkle? The guitar is in excellent condition, everything on the guitar is original, and comes with the original blonde case (another unique twist) and Certificate of Authenticity. The techs in our shop have set it up to play perfectly - this one is ready to go, and a great deal. We don't think it will last long here!

Series: Custom Built

Base Model: 1963 Stratocaster

Color: Red Sparkle

Finish Package: NOS

Nitrocellulose Lacquer

Body: Alder Body (sort lightweight)

Neck: Maple (light tint)

Neck Shape: 60 Style Oval C

Depth at 1st Fret: .790"

Depth at 12th Fret: .930"

6150 Medium Jumbo Frets

9.50" Radius

Dot spacing: Narrow

Dots: Micarta White

Mint Green Pickguard

Pickups: Custom Shop Handwound 60/63 Strat (RWRP middle)

Nickel/Chrome Hardware

5-Way Selector, 1 Tone/Neck, 1 Tone/Middle & Bridge

Fender Custom Shop Blonde Hardshell Case

Certificate of Authenticity

Serial # R110433

.
https://www.truetonemusic.mom/products/used-fender-custom-shop-1963-stratocaster-nos-red-sparkle-with-ohsc
