Fender initially built 40 replicas for European sale, but was subsequently besieged with requests for more. The Rory Gallagher Tribute Stratocaster guitar is an exact replica of that revered instrument, down to the extremely worn Three-color Sunburst alder body, maple neck and rosewood fingerboard. It even has five Sperzel® tuners and one Gotoh® tuner, and the 12th-fret dot marker is white plastic rather than the original clay. It also features three custom-wound '60s single-coil pickups, aged chrome hardware, 21 medium jumbo frets and a synthetic bone nut. Our homage to a true and truly missed master.

Serial # R70715

Finish Package: Heavy Relic

Finish: Nitrocellulose Lacquer

Color: 3-Color Sunburst

Body: Select Alder

Neck: Maple

Neck Shape: Early '60s "C"

Fingerboard: Rosewood

Radius: 9.5" (241 mm)

Number of Frets: 21

Fret Size: Medium Jumbo

Scale Length: 25.5" (648 mm)

Nut Material: Synthetic Bone

Nut Width: 1.650" (42 mm)

Position Inlays: Clay Dots with One Mis-matched White Plastic Dot at the 12th Fret

Tuning Machines: 5 Sperzel® Die-Cast Machine Heads with 1 Mis-Matched Gotoh®

Bridge: 6-Saddle American Vintage Synchronized Tremolo

Control Knobs: Parchment Plastic

Hardware Finish: Nickel/Chrome

Neck Plate: 4-Bolt Serialized

Pickguard: 3-Ply Mint Green

Pickups: Fender Custom Shop Custom '60s Single-Coil Strat

Controls: Master Volume, Tone 1.
