Strumming gives you a wide, shimmering chorus sound, and single-note lines come out thick and full.

The scale length is 23.03" with a 1.6" nut, so it feels compact and the frets sit close together under your hand. At first glad, it seems like it will be odd to play, but upon first strum, we found it to be super comfortable and easy to handle.

The body is chambered mahogany with a solid spruce top in a high-gloss sunburst finish. The neck is mahogany, and the fingerboard and bridge are ebony. Because the body is chambered rather than fully hollow, it can be played at stage volumes with very little feedback, and the whole instrument weighs only 6 lbs.

To get amplfied, the Inuk has custom Fishman electronics with an under-saddle transducer and a blendable sound-imaging microphone. The microphone offers four different mic emulations, so you can go from a close, direct pickup sound to something more open and roomy. The onboard preamp also has a built-in tuner....which is a big deal considering there are 11 strings to tune!

Godin no longer produces this model, and not a lot were made, so it's a relatively a rare instrument to find on the open market. For anyone looking for a unique sound from an instrument that is easy to play, the Inuk is a great choice. This one is in great condition and comes with its original hardshell case.

* Serial #: 14066216
* Weight: 6 lbs
* Finish: Sunburst, high gloss
* Strings: 11 steel strings (five unison pairs plus a single low string)
* Body: Chambered mahogany
* Top: Solid spruce
* Neck: Mahogany
* Fingerboard: Ebony
* Bridge: Ebony
* Scale Length: 23.03"
* Nut Width: 1.6"
* Electronics: Custom Fishman with under-saddle transducer and blendable sound-imaging microphone (4 mic emulations)
