Designed in Japan by the engineers at One Control, this pedal is celebrated for its ability to deliver \"hot-rodded\" Plexi-style tones that are both thick and harmonically edgy. It’s a highly dynamic circuit that cleans up beautifully with your guitar's volume knob, allowing you to transition from a stealthy, light crunch to an aggressive, predatory howl with just a flick of the wrist.While the exterior features a whimsical \"surf-art\" design by Jonas Claesson, the internal engineering is dead serious. The three-knob interface (Volume, Drive, and Tone) is supplemented by two internal trim pots for Presence and Bass. This allows you to surgically fine-tune the \"belly of the beast\" to match your specific amplifier, ensuring you have the right amount of low-end \"thump\" and high-end \"bite\" regardless of your rig. Whether you're chasing creamy overdrive or searing, high-gain leads with endless sustain, the \"Wolf\" provides a boutique-level experience in a compact, durable enclosure.As a \"used\" specimen, this pedal offers a chance to grab a piece of the original Ninevolt lineage (now known as Animals Pedal) before the branding shift. It remains a favorite among players who want a versatile, British-voiced distortion that doesn't sacrifice note definition for gain. With its low current draw and true bypass switching, it’s a reliable, professional-grade predator that plays nice with any pedalboard setup\u003c\/p\u003e","brand":"Ninevolt","offers":[{"title":"Default Title","offer_id":48874948526323,"sku":"70NNV000","price":79.99,"currency_code":"USD","in_stock":false}],"thumbnail_url":"\/\/cdn.shopify.com\/s\/files\/1\/0789\/2433\/files\/1-Img41484.jpg?v=1777052674","url":"https:\/\/www.truetonemusic.mom\/products\/used-ninevolt-pedals-i-was-a-wolf-in-the-forest-distortion-pedal","provider":"Truetone Music","version":"1.0","type":"link"}
