As a tribute to this significant achievement and Harry's impact on the folk movement in the country, Richard eagerly agreed. The result was a custom OM guitar with a larger body size for increased power, reminiscent of Martin's iconic 0000 design. Harry also personalized his guitar to his own playability preferences and aesthetic tastes, including special inlays to mark his milestone achievement.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eWith a focus on creating a superior sound and design, Richard envisioned the OM Grand as a valuable addition to the distinguished SCGC standard models. The result of careful template preparation, this enhanced version offers both power and nuance in solo fingerstyle playing, thanks to the top-quality tone woods and expert voicing and tuning found across all SCGC guitars.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThis one in particular features African Blackwood back \u0026amp; sides, paired wonderfully with a German Spruce top.  The result is a rich, full tone that projects strongly, but is not overbearing.  Well-balanced is often used to describe acoustics, but this one really does perfect it.  This OM Grand hits across the tonal spectrum, with a strong, even bass response that is never overly boomy, with pleasant mids and a shimmering high end.  \u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThe guitar has an aftermarket L.R.
